I am a good seller on Half.com for 13 years with 100% feedback. Half.com doesn't publish phone number on their website, they only take email requests (promising 48-72 hours (only that is a fantasy), they warn you to not write more than once because doing so delays a response (PUNISHMENT??). Ebay has owned Half.com for quite a few years but will not provide support for account issues. After not receiving any response via emails to the fact that I can't make important account changes and I am unpaid for nearly a month (I can't access the payment info (and they specifically inform sellers they are blocked from doing so), stating that you must email them because they won't allow these changes???). What can you do but wait for them to act. I did a search and found a number but the automated systems tells you to email them and then disconnects the call! I wonder if they even have staff but Ebay just doesn't care.

No responces from half.com

Bought a used Wii on half.com. Wii received was not as described. Wii would show errors when being played. Plastic cover was missing, made loud sounds when in use and a control button sticked when in use. Tried contacting half.com by phone with no human contact or returned calls to me. When through the Better Business Bureau with no luck for them either. Credit card company did not resolve this for me either. I guess I'm out of the $145.00 spent on this item. This site should be banned from the internet. Please save yourself money and time and don't use this site.

Ebay has owned Half.com for quite a few years but will not provide support for account issues.

I wonder if they even have staff but Ebay just doesn't care.

long story here it goes. i manage a cd warehouse here in sandy springs, ga. we are a retail store. last friday, after 10 years on half.com, over 30k feedback and a 98% approval rating, we get suspended for some vague reason. i will post the letter. we call custome service, BUT WAIT, you cant talk to custome service or the supervisors or the trust and safety department BECAUSE THEY DO NOT ACCEPT PHONE CALLS!!! they send me some email telling me what they need me to send them to clear this matter up: THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID: We regret to inform you that your Half.com account has been suspended due to concerns we have for the safety and integrity of the Half.com community. "Abusing eBay" of the eBay User Agreement states, in part: "...we may limit, suspend, or terminate our service and user accounts, prohibit access to our website, remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep users off the Site if we think that they are creating problems, possible legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies." Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are prohibited from using Half.com or eBay in any way. This includes the registering of a new account. *** Appealing your Half.com suspension *** To have your account considered for reinstatement, please fax us all of the following: 1. That is clearly obvious that we are not some fly by night organization that is posting items that we don’t have. In our ten years we have generated a lot of money for you also. The documentation that you request IS SIMPLY NOT AVAILABLE! Cd Warehouse is a franchise operation so the individual stores are left to purchase the items that they feel will sell best in their stores. This is done by individuals bringing items in to sell. We also buy from postal auctions, individuals and stores in our area that are going out of business. For example, when TOWER RECORDS went down, we spent thousands of dollars to acquire merchandise from them, in some cases brand new release at far below cost to sell in our shop and online. When WHEREHOUSE MUSIC went down, same thing. I have a cutomer right now who is a former tour manager for CLEAR CHANNEL who is, over the next several weeks/months bringing me over 40k items for his and his partners’ collections to sell. 99% of the time, the person/organization selling TO us does not issue us a receipt for what we but from them. That would be silly for us to even expect that. The only documentation I can proved for any items that I sell is the purchase receipts generated in my store as that is the only way we can keep track of inventory. We do not buy from the same places that BEST BUY and CIRCUIT CITY buy from. Not possible or we would be going under just like they do. Let me also tell you this, half.com’s customer service policy is terrible. Not being able to contact anyone directly to resolve this matter instead of dealing with vague emails is incredibly frustrating and makes me want to take my business elsewhere. When I call and ask if I can speak to a supervisor and I am told that they don’t accept phone calls, I have to ask what the *** are they supervising. I would like to resolve this matter quickly. I still have no idea why we got suspended and am getting more and more angry as the days go on. If your company does not want our business anymore, please tell us ASAP so I can move on. We are a retail shop also that has a wide and varied customer base. We also have very loyal customers on half.com that we would like to keep. They sell something else on the name of something else

This site itself looks is like encouraging cheating. I tried to buy Juine.B.Jones books for my niece, On this linkhttp://product.half.ebay.com/_W0QQtgZinfoQQprZ4509****, It says Junie.B.Jones, Books 1-8, (HardCover 2004) etc...as if its talking about books, but when I bought it, the item turned out to be a dumb t-shirt. Total crap man, if they are selling a dumbace t-shirt, why dont they mention it clearly, why do they have to cheat as though they are selling books, And moreover, it took like over a month for the order to arrive. This site itself is ***, will never buy anything on it again

Ripped Off by Half.com Seller

Ordered book 2/7 still not received. Seller claims it was sent on 2/9. Asked for tracking number, no response. Emailed numerous times. Finally told on 3/1 that they were as concerned as much about it not arriving (yeah, right, you got your money!) and if not received in 5 days they would send out "another copy". 5 days pass, no book. I've insisted on refund, no response. Half.com complaint process can take up to 30 DAYS! The seller has TONS of neg feedback for items not ever received yet half.com lets the person continue selling? I'M PISSED AS CAN BE!
